Leessang reportedly have disbanded. Reports claimed that Gil & Gary had grew apart and had been focusing on individual projects. This came as quite a shock and right after Kang Gary's marriage report. Apparently, no one knew about the marriage. Not his management, not Gil, and not the running man members. 

Kang Gary seems to have disconnected from everyone who is in the public eye. I'm happy that he married someone he loves but I can't help feel sad as well. I am one of those fans who wished MONDAY COUPLE was real. Too bad it wasn't meant to be. 

I've enjoyed Leessang's music, "Someday", "Turned off the TV", "Girl who can't breakup, Boy who can't leave", "You're the answer to guy like me", and my favorite "Tears". I hope Leessang, even if they disband, will continue to make great music separately... & I've written about the Sung Yoo Jin or Eugene on a previous post.I hope she finds success and continue singing because she has a really pretty voice. 

I feel that "Tears" really fit what I'm feeling right now...shocked, heartbroken, confused. The rap part is really long, so I decided to play with the layouts to see which fits best.

MELODY: Lee Sun Hee - Meet Him Among Them(그 중에 그대를 만나)

I first heard this song on K-pop Star 6 Last Chance audition. The contestant Sung Yoo-Jin is apparently a former member of The SeeYa, a girl group that was quite famous in Korea back in 2012. The group had quietly disbanded in 2015. Just goes to show you, some days you're up and the next day you're forgotten. Brutal. Sung Yoo-Jin is actually the vocals for LeeSSang's Tears. I'll cover that song next time. :)

The next time I heard this song was on Goblin. Ji Eun-Tak (Kim Go-Eun) was shyly singing this song at a wedding as Mr. Goblin/Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) watches on.

I highly recommend Goblin to any K-drama fans. I cried my eyes out for the drama but the drama's drawbacks was that it had one too many flashbacks. However, it is TVN's current best drama with a great story-line.

Gong Yoo plays Kim Shin a general who was betrayed by his King & brother in-law (Lee Dong-Wook).  The King was manipulated by a treacherous eunuch, coaxed into pushing away everyone the eunuch believes will sever his power over the King. Struck by his own sword, Kim Shin dies lying on an open field, GOD then turned General Kim Shin into Goblin. His blessing and punishment. Cursed with immortality and memories of the deaths of his loved ones. The only way to end his life is to find his bride. Only his bride can pull out the sword and let him return to ashes.

LIFE: Run, baby lizard...RUN!!!!!! (BBC's Planet Earth 2)

I recently saw a video clip on Facebook about newly hatched baby lizards being chased by super fast snakes. It was more intense than any movie I've ever seen. It's just like the nightmares that I used to have but instead of being chased by snakes, I've always had nightmares of being chased by crocodiles when I was younger.

I did some googling and found out that the video clip was a snippet of a series on BBC called "Planet Earth 2". The video was set on Galapagos Island, an episode where they featured ISLANDS. The baby lizard got caught by the snakes and I thought it was game over but, it miraculously managed to escape death's grip. WOW!!!

Let's all strive to be like this baby lizard and never surrender & never give up on life.

• Madagascar Island of Africa

• Christmas Island in the Indian Ocean
• Zavodovski in the Southern Ocean

Each island had showcased animals that made those island their sanctuary. Looking at the full episode, the penguins of Zavodovski made a huge impression on me. Not because the island stinks a lot due to sulphur & bird-poop. But, you got to the admire the penguin's tenacity. Risking their lives every single day, day in & day out for food & family. Not to mention the treacherous commute.

This song is one of Descendents of the Sun's (DOTS) OST. I haven't seen the Drama yet but it has great fan reviews & won a lot of awards. DOTS is a drama about the love story of a soldier (Song Joong-Ki) & a doctor (Song Hye-Kyo). Anyway, DOTS is in my "to-watch" list.

Kim Jong-Kook introduced this song to me on Running Man (RM). On episode 334, Jong-Kook got to show his romantic side. The production team of RM had set up Jong-Kook on a real blind date. Kookie serenaded his date with this song and won a second date & hopefully her heart :)
